Laksam United Hospital Directory operates an independent public-service healthcare directory, not an official hospital website. For privacy questions, write to info@laksamunitedhospital.com or use our Contact form.
Information collected
The Contact form stores the name, email, subject and message you provide in our database. Server and hosting services may keep technical logs including IP addresses, browser/request details and timestamps for operation and security. The app uses a hash derived from the IP address for rate limiting.
Why information is used
Information is used to respond to enquiries, correct listings, maintain necessary correspondence and prevent abuse. Processing must follow the consent or other lawful basis required by applicable law.
Cookies
Session/security cookies support forms and administration. A language cookie remembers your preference for up to about one year; the session cookie normally lasts for the browser session. You can control cookies in your browser, although some functions may be limited.
Access and service providers
Authorized administrators and necessary hosting/technical providers may process information to operate the site. If SMTP notifications are enabled, the configured email provider delivers a notification containing a message reference, not the full Contact message. Depending on provider arrangements, information may be processed in another country. Disclosure may also be necessary to meet a lawful obligation.
Retention
Messages are retained while needed to handle an enquiry, necessary follow-up and applicable obligations. The administrator reviews retention and deletes information no longer needed. No fixed automatic deletion period is currently configured. Logs and backups follow their configured retention; deletion from the active database may not immediately remove backup copies.
Google Maps and sharing links
Using a Google Maps link or embed connects your browser to Google. Choosing WhatsApp sharing sends the institution name and public page link to WhatsApp. Those services have their own privacy policies. Share buttons do not send private Contact form messages.
Public listings and photos
Directory names, contacts and addresses come from public sources and administrator submissions. Details pages show source links where supplied. Contact us to request correction/removal of inaccurate information, private numbers or images with permission concerns.
Your requests and security
You may request access, correction, deletion or withdrawal of consent where applicable law provides for it. We may need to verify your identity. Do not send patient reports, identity documents or sensitive medical information. We use security measures, but online services cannot guarantee absolute security.
Policy changes
This policy must be updated when site services or data use change. The update date on this page identifies the current version.
